Professional Life

Ryan Hodgson has an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the nexus of business strategy and vertically integrated marketing communications. He has built and led teams, which have been up to 55 people, that have delivered successful partnerships with globally recognized brands such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, The Project Management Institute, HTC, Verizon Wireless, SAP, Sotheby’s International Realty, Ricoh and the University of Washington. In 2017 he was named the 20th most retweeted marketer in the world and has won international and nation awards for Integrated Marketing, Content Marketing, Advertising and Social Media. He was featured on the inspirational podcast True North Stories’ episode – The Marketing Wizard from Oz.

After more than a decade of working in and with some of the world’s best agencies and globally recognized brands in May 2017 Ryan launched Ryanintheus LLC, a company built to leverage his large network of experienced business professionals, leading marketers, influencers and content creators to deliver business and marketing solutions to actually deliver what all companies want, a healthy and robust pipeline of customers and the ability to deliver and scale operations.

Travel Influencer

Notable brands have sought to partner with Ryan as a travel influencer. He has partnered with Alaska Airlines to promote their new Seattle/Dallas route and to Alaska to promote the Copper River Salmon season, traveled to and toured London to promote the launch of Virgin Atlantic’s new direct Seattle to London route, interviewed Hugh Jackman in NYC for the release of “Logan”, journeyed to Costa Rica for GreenSpot Travel – a leader in customized luxury eco-travel, visited Mexico to promote beach side resort Playa Las Tortugas, and to Canada to ski at Big White Ski Resort and to promote CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures.  He has also partnered with Gillete, Clif Bar, Uber, Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, and Lib Tech Skis as well as numerous local tourism boards, amassing a total online following of 250,000+ people.


Raised in a low socio-economic neighborhood of Perth, Western Australia, Ryan has always been driven to help others. This trait inspired him to found Seattle based nonprofit, Team Up for Nonprofits. The organization utilized music benefits and social influencers to raise funds and awareness for deserving nonprofits, while creating an accessible environment for young professionals to experience philanthropy. Ryan was Founder/President of “Team Up” between 2010 and 2015 and for his charitable efforts with Team Up was recognized by the Huffington Post in their article; “39 Inspiring Men and Their Passion for Charity”.
